Pros

At least they seem to be trying to be a different kind of a BPO, so I would list "vision". I genuinely believe when the management says they are trying to create an equal workplace where people feel good. The product I was working with was very interesting, and there were new things to learn every day. It was a very pleasant experience to learn to use Amadeus in depth. Atmosphere was nice, even friendly in the context of Estonia. Management seemed competent and proactive. Although most of them seemed to be mostly just walking around and joking most of the time.

Cons

I felt like there was a layer of flower scented gloss on what clearly is just a piece of turd. Let me explain. I felt like the people who were supposed to be helping junior employees with their issues were hostile and mean, and did not really offer any solutions aside from snarky remarks and arrogant attitude. They were obviously too busy and overworked, because a lot of people were on their backs all the time, asking questions. Whose fault? Whose problem? The salary was really bad, especially considering the workload. No wonder there is a shortage of skilled employees. I would have stayed and worked my job if I had received double the paycheck. That way it would have been worth my while. Eventually, it is just another BPO corporation, exploiting workers and relying on the never ending stream of new people to fool into staying aboard for a couple of months. Because let's face it: a call center agent is 100% replaceable. That will affect quality, but that does not really matter, someone somewhere has calculated so.

Pros

Remote work and great coworkers

Cons

Extremely low pay for the amount of work and the type of calls that you have to deal with. Lots of mircomanaging. Unrealistic metrics. Lack of knowledge and competency from leadership because at no point should your workers know more than you about the job itself. No care for unforseen life circumstances that affect your ability to work. Very stressful and mentally exhausting which often leads to burnout. No recognition for hard work and meeting metric goals. Too hard to get PTO approved. Tech and internal systems are always breaking which affects your ability to do your job. No one is ever on the same page which often leads to being given incorrect information. No room for growth or opportunities to go into other roles. Benefits are not that great. Mid health insurance plans, no 401K match, no parental leave, and no internet reimbursements. They'll sell you a fairytale in training so BEWARE.
