Pros

For fresh grads, this company is good for you. You can learn a lot of things to your advantage. For current employee like me, well, I liked the people and the environment. People are really humble.

Cons

Compensation- there was a time when new hires were offered a huge basic pay. But most of them are talent-less. (not being judgmental here - I experienced teaching and training some of them and you will wonder how come they passed the recruitment process and their basic is high compared to others) Tenured teammates never felt being valued. The company don't value tenured teammates. Salary disputes - every pay day, salary disputes are very common thing to happen. Talented teammates - they let talented/tenured teammates go in replace of new and talent-less employees. Promotion - very hard to get promoted. Sometimes, you will be on an acting capacity for a year then you will need to pass the Behavioral Exam and Lead Training before you get the official promotion and increase. So during that one year? You earn the same amount or even less than what a regular teammate is earning. Christmas party? Not consistent. Sometimes we have. Sometimes we don't. Christmas gift? How about the BONUS branded goodies from SM? Management - The good management has long gone when they were replaced.

Pros

Remote work and great coworkers

Cons

Extremely low pay for the amount of work and the type of calls that you have to deal with. Lots of mircomanaging. Unrealistic metrics. Lack of knowledge and competency from leadership because at no point should your workers know more than you about the job itself. No care for unforseen life circumstances that affect your ability to work. Very stressful and mentally exhausting which often leads to burnout. No recognition for hard work and meeting metric goals. Too hard to get PTO approved. Tech and internal systems are always breaking which affects your ability to do your job. No one is ever on the same page which often leads to being given incorrect information. No room for growth or opportunities to go into other roles. Benefits are not that great. Mid health insurance plans, no 401K match, no parental leave, and no internet reimbursements. They'll sell you a fairytale in training so BEWARE.
