Pros

Co workers were very nice

Cons

The pay is low, not what they promised at interview, there is no commission. The hours are long. It's a call center not well run. If you are thinking about working here I advise you not to, unless it's a last resort. By the way the health insurance is very very expensive your better off with Obama Care.

Sutherland Response

Thank you for taking the time to reflect on your employment with Sutherland. It’s nice to hear you enjoy the presence of your coworkers. Sutherland Global Services presents the pay structure of every program clearly in the offer letter. There are different commission rates that apply to certain positions. The commission for the MetLife program is tiered, based on sales and quality. Commission can never be guaranteed. Although I cannot speak for the integrity of your supervisor, I can say that all of our management staff goes through extensive training programs to ensure their leadership abilities. It is impossible to employ supervisors whose personalities mesh well with everyone. We can only hope that those who are awarded these roles understand the importance of their position. Our HR department supports an open-door policy, and we encourage all employees to bring their concerns to HR so that we can address and resolve them. Our employees are what make us successful. Your input will only help us grow in the right direction. Thanks!

Pros

Remote work and great coworkers

Cons

Extremely low pay for the amount of work and the type of calls that you have to deal with. Lots of mircomanaging. Unrealistic metrics. Lack of knowledge and competency from leadership because at no point should your workers know more than you about the job itself. No care for unforseen life circumstances that affect your ability to work. Very stressful and mentally exhausting which often leads to burnout. No recognition for hard work and meeting metric goals. Too hard to get PTO approved. Tech and internal systems are always breaking which affects your ability to do your job. No one is ever on the same page which often leads to being given incorrect information. No room for growth or opportunities to go into other roles. Benefits are not that great. Mid health insurance plans, no 401K match, no parental leave, and no internet reimbursements. They'll sell you a fairytale in training so BEWARE.
