      steady work and lots of overtime. good for a young person who is starting there career and has no experience in job field

      does not pay well even after years of service. hard to bid on other jobs in company

      Pros

      Friendly coworkers, lots of holidays off, year end shutdown.

      Cons

      Low pay. Lots of office politics. Your merit increase is based on how well you are liked - not how well you perform. If you don’t fit the Swagelok mold you will have a hard time advancing. It’s almost looked down upon to be an external hire.
