Pros

For pros, I thought swaybox studios had a unique perspective and visual style that hasn't been seen in the industry. Visually, you want to help and be a part of what they are trying to do. They do pay on time.

Cons

I found them to be unprofessional and ill informed in their own approach to shots and work. Expectations and workload changed radically and they seemed unaware of how much extra work large changes yielded. They didn't have a working pipeline or even approach to shotwork on the digital side. Some management (not all) was incredibly condescending. The only high profile project they have delivered has been a superbowl commercial.

Pros

Cool project. Good people on the crew.

Cons

Horrendous management decision making. Infantile and hostile behavior by leadership, due to total lack of understanding of how a film is made. Information silos in all directions leading to confusion, redundancy, frustration, and temper tantrums. Experience is looked at as a negative. Culture of fear does not even begin to cover it.
