Pros

Excellent care, compassionate caregivers, top doctors and clinicians of all disciplines! Has a good reputation in the community, well respected and trusted. Very generous with charity care for those who qualify...Swedish Foundation and employees are very generours in their donations to the Swedish Charity Care & Special Funding each year; it truly shows their dedication to their work and long-standing commitment to the community, and thanks to philanthropic corporations and individuals of this community, they are super stars and have been very supportive. Swedish continues to evolve to maintain and become the best in medical practice. Swedish supports and has the support and affiliation with many other medical centers, the medical community here works together for the best care of their patients.

Cons

Unfortunately, the economy has forced many hospitals to scale back on staffing and I was one of those employees who has experienced a job elimination, it is very unfortunate but I understand it, volumes are down, in this economny many people are forced to postpone elective surgeries and sometimes postpone general medical care across the board. But, I do know that patient care does not suffer, Swedish will continue to make bedside care a number one priority, patients come first.

Pros

+The company is severely incompetent +Trauma-bonding with your co-workers will never be easier

Cons

-Toxic management culture: you'll frequently be brought into full-team meetings where the management will circle-jerk themselves, refuse to listen to team members, change random procedures, then ask why the workers want to unionize. -The company is SEVERELY incompetent: the company blows thousands of dollars on worthless things like their own in-house AI chatbot GPT clone and refuses to spend money on resources wisely while simultaneously complaining about the budget. -Abhorrently dishonest: They let me go after bringing me into a meeting to discuss "communication expectations." They then refused to allow two-party consent for recording, fired me for apparently "violating their standards of protocol", refused to allow me to stay to gather any evidence of their random firing, and refused to respond to any emails to confirm the nature of the meeting. This was ALSO the week before the management promised everyone on our team an annual raise. -Separation is a nightmare: Not only did they lie about the reason for separation before being busted by the state, but they also refuse to cash out PTO time, and HR is a nightmare to work with when confirming details for state services.
