Cons
The current staff and management in place has made the environment feel very clique. I don’t feel confident as a result. To go further in depth-they are not warm and welcoming to new employees. Sweet James does not give you the feel of a “family”. My prior firm I felt like every one of my colleagues were apart of my family. Being a newer addition to the firm I felt expected to sink or swim immediately. Mistakes are not taken lightly. If you have very little experience be prepared to feel like an idiot every single day for the entire 8 hours of your shift. Constant interruptions with the work environment as well. The setting is an open cubicle type setting but more desk space than cubicles. Hard to stay focused and on track a lot of the time. Part of the office talks super loud so there is no relief. No one says hello in the mornings. When you take a day off—your work load just piles. No relief or positive outlooks just get it done now. It does not feel like a place to invest in long term. Grateful for the experience I have gained however I do not see myself still working here in five years or likely even in one year from now. All in all the firm is very clique. If you have worked in an environment like this then you know all too well how this feels. :( Favorites and all. HR-?? This department was removed and has been left TBD. Very unfortunate for a firm this size.
