Pros
My time at Sweetwater has been nothing short of amazing so far. The development culture here is very collaborative, work/life balance is good, and there is a very real sense that employees are cared about. I've never heard people talked about as "resources" like I have at previous jobs. SW really does pour into and invest in people at the human level. There is no shortage of opportunity for someone hungry to do great things at this company. The amenities at Sweetwater are a major plus for me as well. The fact that we have so many great services right here in the building make it very convenient. Over the past several months, I've seen a concerted effort from senior leadership to bring the shining examples of great leadership and culture over into the IT side of the house, and really attempt to break down some negative historical leadership practices.
Cons
Every company is made up of humans, so there are always going to be things that fall through the cracks, or situations that arise because of decisions made in the past. I've heard that there used to be a culture of fear in the tech side of Sweetwater, but this has not been my experience thus far.
