Pros
They are #1 in the industry for a reason. Just as any other company, who you deal directly with on a daily basis will determine your experience. I highly recommend SWIFT because they genuinely care about their drivers. If you come across someone who doesn't feel free to call the Liason dept in Phoenix and they will genuinely hear your concerns and nip it in the bud on your behalf if the other party is wrong. If you ever need them to work with you as far as scheduling, maybe making a life transition, they will allow you to go casual where you only have to do 1 load once a month or take a leave of absence. If they see that you're a great driver , they really do work with you. Also, if you get tired of driving, you can apply to their office positions. While I've been otr and dedicated, dedicated mgt has an awesome laid back style of managing. They won't throw their weight around unless you really push them.
Cons
Not the best pay! Favoritism exists on some dedicated accounts. I've been lucky to be on the good side of this. But it's not so good for others. Walmart dedicated should go back to paying $15/store every stop.
