Pros
Large enough to get decent weekly miles . Road tractors are generally later models. Although since turnover is high( most people get 6 months and move on to something better) most of the trucks smell of smoke and other unpleasant smells that the shop won't bother trying to remove. If you're a non smoker good luck getting a truck that doesn't smell of smoke
Cons
You will only be paid for about 80 - 85 percent of the miles you drove. Also the starting pay had been .25 a mile and you get a few raises over a year to be at .32 cpm. After that raises are yearly and to out @ . 38 cpm after 5 years. The trailers take a lot of abuse and you will defiantly be getting repairs made to them about every 3 months. Mainly the pins in the trailer tandoms . Also you will only be getting home about once a month. 3 weeks out with a weekend home.
