Pros
Respectable pay for your drive time (although much better if you are on team). Good benefits which are pretty standard for most big companies. A fair amount of opportunity for home time.
Cons
Running dedicated is much more reliable and a safer option for trucking in my experience and with what I have seen. Unfortunately based on your home location and if you are tied to it, you may be very limited on the types of dedicated routes you can take. So in order to make more money do expect to be gone for more extended periods of time (not so much a con and more so just fair words of caution). Not everyone will experience this though I do want to point out as well. Circumstances are always different based on the individual.
