Pros
Some of the good aspects of working for Swift is the provides fair health insurance, 401 K, yearly bonuses, company shares given only to all management and a company share discounts. Working on site means we did not have to be part of the political side that goes on at the ELP terminal.
Cons
Some of the negative aspects are that they under pay the drivers on miles( about a average of 140 miles per week short). All drivers complain about the miles and upper management does nothing to resolve it. El Paso management at the terminal knowingly exhibits favoritism and instead of the other employees complaining the HR they look the other way in fear that they may get a write or get fired this has created a hostile environment Also many of the management (driver managers) would quit because of the favoritism and drivers would quit either because of the way they were treated and for not getting paid actual miles driven causing them not show up to work or apply for another trucking job that paid a better rates per miles.
