Pros

I work part time as a college student, and the schedule is incredibly flexible. My location has a lot of former/current college swimmers on staff, and it is a great place to learn to swim from athletes who are passionate about the sport and understand how important it is for children to know how to swim.

Cons

Kind of a petty problem to have, but an occasional miscommunication on pricing and scheduling between customer service and each individual location can make helping customers stressful. But, there is always a solution.

Pros

Great work environment: SwimLabs offers a supportive and friendly atmosphere, where team collaboration is highly valued. Coaches and staff genuinely care about the swimmers' progress, making it a positive place to work.

Cons

High-tech systems can be overwhelming: While the technology can greatly benefit swimmers, it can be challenging for coaches who aren’t as tech-savvy. There’s a learning curve with the video systems and software that can sometimes slow down workflow or become frustrating when things don’t run smoothly.

Pros

People-wise, a very fun place to work. Definitely attracts the kind of nice, positive people you want to be around.

Cons

Little to no direction from management the vast majority of the time; very much a "sink or swim" kind of job. High staff turnover since most were high school students. Office staff were often hired to work part-time but ended up working far more than they agreed to; coaches tended to have the opposite problem, being promised so many hours but scheduled (and paid) for less.
