Pros

had a lot of potential

Cons

Schools are all inner city with trouble kids which makes for a rough day. Now they require the covid 19 vaccine. I refuse to work for a company that requires employees to take this without exemptions for medical or religious reasons. It’s called discrimination

We're sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Swing. Swing does offer COVID-19 vaccine exemptions in certain situations. Substitutes should contact Swing Support to find out if they qualify for exemptions. Please be aware that some of our partner schools do not have vaccine exemptions so if you choose to not be vaccinated, those schools will not be available to you. In terms of Swing's school partners, Swing partners with public, private and charter schools in 6 states and in Washington D.C., in both urban and suburban locations. Swing Subs can update their location settings at any time to view different schools in neighboring districts. -The Swing Education Team

Pros

Flexible Lots of opportunities Many schools in my area

Cons

Just like the other review, I noticed that around march/ April they dropped the pay significantly?? Some requests are even below minimum wage and I’m confused why they’re even allowing that to happen. I just don’t understand what happened to them I did also have some negative run ins with staffing at some of the school and unfortunately swing will always take their side no matter what. I learned to just escalate the issues to the school district/ superintendents.
