Pros

The support staff are very nice and they pay for onboarding and other time spent, unlike some other places. The teachers and other staff at the schools are really nice and Swing makes sure you actually get a lunch break (unpaid, unfortunately).

Cons

The pay is generally considering the drive times are often up to an hour each way from somewhere like LA city or San Diego City. About $20/hr for six hours, so $100 a day after gas and taxes, which isn't nearly enough to survive on in California. I have a second job I work for four hours after I get home from school at 4.15pm and I can barely get by.

Pros

Flexible Lots of opportunities Many schools in my area

Cons

Just like the other review, I noticed that around march/ April they dropped the pay significantly?? Some requests are even below minimum wage and I’m confused why they’re even allowing that to happen. I just don’t understand what happened to them I did also have some negative run ins with staffing at some of the school and unfortunately swing will always take their side no matter what. I learned to just escalate the issues to the school district/ superintendents.
