Pros

Working with different ages, learning abilities, learned how the public system works.

Cons

Public educational system overall in Los Angeles needs improvement. Teachers need more support and teachers, staff, and principles need to have a more caring and hands on approach. In my observation, skills such as yoga, mindfulness and teaching children personal responsibility from an early age from a loving hear-centered place, not punishment, would create a more sustainable and happier environment for kids to actually grow and learn in ways that are fitting to their individual needs and abilities and mitigate teacher burnout.

Pros

Flexible Lots of opportunities Many schools in my area

Cons

Just like the other review, I noticed that around march/ April they dropped the pay significantly?? Some requests are even below minimum wage and I’m confused why they’re even allowing that to happen. I just don’t understand what happened to them I did also have some negative run ins with staffing at some of the school and unfortunately swing will always take their side no matter what. I learned to just escalate the issues to the school district/ superintendents.
