Pros
Culture is pretty great and everyone is very approachable. It's nice to be able to access upper management easily if needed. You're definitely not a number here. Work-life balance is there if you're ok with odd hours. Work hours were pretty flexible as long as the work got done. No micromanagement within the team. Hybrid work environment was pretty nice! Benefits and pay were great. PTO was outstanding - although too may people seem to log on while on leave and that should be discouraged :)
Cons
Global company = you'll work strange hours throughout the week. Expect early mornings or late evenings, but you can structure your day around it if you're flexible. This could be a pro and a con. While C-suite has taken bits of advice from its employees, they lack a sense of urgency when it comes to fixing underlying, internal problems. There is an overall company mission, but the company seems very scattered with no clear goals on how to get there. Processes are pretty much non-existent and it seems like a free-for-all. This should be top priority. While there is a sort-of hierarchy, very few people in the company seem to know how to manage people and how to run a team efficiently. This just leads to more internal frustrations and creates a massive amount of time wasted. I was taken aback at the lack of quality training given to new hires, which makes productivity for any new employee very low as they have to learn everything themselves. It's extremely frustrating for any motivated employee, as there was minimal direction given and a lack of mentoring. I had to ask for feedback on multiple occasions to ensure I was meeting expectations. Being someone with an extensive team management background, I was pretty floored by how bad this was.
