Pros
Throughout the application process, admins involved in my multiple interviews continually rescheduled and I accommodated. After over 14 calendar days in dealing with the recruiter, I had two interviews and was given an offer.
Cons
The Desert Financial (parent corporation) HR reps gave me an offer for a position the recruiter did not discuss with me, and at a lower rate than what I understood to be applying for as a base. They advertised all these benefits, having been rated top 100 places to work in the Valley, added that they run a lean ship and so Overtime is usually available as a pro. I was offered this job on a Friday but didn't immediately accept it due to the discrepancies between what I discussed with recruiting, and then two business days later the recruiter is the one who had to call me back to tell me they rescinded their offer. Their reasoning was that they made a mistake offering me the job and the role was not going to be filled at all, and in fact reduced to a Junior role. So the job is going to be done, just not by me, and certainly not at the rate the role has already been at. They're blaming 4th quarter financial situation and economy, but Desert Financial is a Financial Institution, had already budgeted for the rate at which I applied, and had 2 people already leave which prompted the role going onto job boards in the first place. Management seems like people fled from them, I can see why.
