Pros
Remote work. OK benefits. There are still good people here.
Cons
As others have said, this used to be a great place. Then it was sold to an investment firm who brought in a bunch of Vice Presidents and started laying off like half the company. Every few weeks, there's a new round of layoffs. We've lost a lot of good people who really contribute to the company. It's pretty scary, and you lose sleep wondering if today is they day you lose your job. The company is profitable, but apparently not profitable enough for ownership. Don't believe them about bonuses. No one has gotten one in years. Every quarter they just say we haven't met their unclear, impossible sales goals. They even canceled the annual christmas party because we weren't producing enough apparently. I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to shut down the whole company as a tax write off. As a side note, diversity is pretty bad at upper levels. Upper management is entirely white men.
