Pros

Worked at Symbotic for about 2 years as a test engineer. Didn't know much about the industry before my hiring, outside of academic experience. Hiring manager gave me a chance and threw me on some challenging but exciting projects when I started. My first reaction was "This is way out of my league.", but with all the skills and knowledge I gained in computer science, I now understand how valuable those projects were. I am highly more knowledgeable and marketable in this field now thanks to Symbotic and the fantastic directors and colleagues I work with. I continue to get involved in work I have limited experience in but it's highly motivating to work in robotics (especially the department I work for) and I couldn't ask for better experiences. You also get free lunch, breakfast and stock options which are all great. Prove your worth and Symbotic will take care of you. That's how my experience has been.

Cons

Nothing really. Some projects have strict deadlines, but that's in all tech companies. If you are motivated and enjoy what you do, you can see it as a challenge and not a "job." For the most part though, Symbotic as done too much for me to call anything a negative.

High end and competitive! Although not sure if that would be a con
