Pros

You can basically work from home whenever you want, even if you are supposed to be in the office. If you put in 20-30 hours of work a week, no one will notice. This is a common theme in multiple reviews, but at the company, it's touted as "work-life balance." You do get exposed to a lot of interesting work in the advertising space, mainly because you have to do the work of 2-3 people.

Cons

Symphony Talent is the most politically charged environment I have ever worked at. If you're a heads-down, hardworking individual who wants to do good work, you will not survive. Every smart and talented individual who enters the company will leave because they get burned out or are sick of others taking credit for their work. They cannot attract good talent at all. You will be paid 25th-40th percentile of the market you are in. You will be given tons of work that you cannot manage, and you will likely be blamed for any issues that arise. The technology is abysmal and outdated. The company seems to always be 10 years behind the current trends. The product and tech orgs are very much a clique. Literally 2/3rds of the whole company are work-from-home moms (no problem with that) who put in 10 hours of work a week (there's the problem). If you ask any of them to even take a phone call after 4:30pm, they will accuse you of overstepping work-life boundaries.
