Pros
The only positive is the Unlimited PTO that you're going to need to even put up with the many layers of dysfunction happening here.
Cons
Where do I even begin? ST: A recruitment marketing company boasting so many things to clients with too many internal issues to count, faulty tech, diminishing employee retention, and poor ratings from actual employees where it matters. Keep reading for more topline insight if you really want to know what it's like: On one end, you have layoffs happening almost every other month, a dwindling client base, extremely faulty technology (the main reason many clients come on board....then leave, coincidentally), and completely overworked and non supported teams left to pick up the slack to keep the business going. In turn, many well intended employees have also resigned in droves due to complete burnout and lack of support. This place is being kept together with stick glue, gum, and popsicle sticks. On the other hand, you have people in leadership positions who have proven in more ways than one that they are completely inexperienced and seem to have simply gotten here because the department heads were desperate (and not because they were actually qualified for the role). It is also to be noted that I have never worked for a company where extremely troubling concerns and potential legal issues (with thoroughly documented evidence) were presented to HR and management and they did not care. The blame game is an unofficial company sport especially as leadership refuses to take any semblance of accountability for partnerships and overarching company decisions that fall apart due to poor planning, team support, and inexperience. As far as diversity is concerned, the bulk of any positive company reported data on this is due to the fact they have a significant presence in the office based in India. Do with that information as you will. ST may have rebranded earlier this year, but even with the new splashes of color and fancy new buzzwords, this place is red flags galore. It is not a safe space to thrive and do your best work to support clients due to its extremely toxic company culture, constant shifts in direction, poor leadership, and lack of diversity. Sprint, high jump, long distance run, speed walk, or do whatever else you need to do to get yourself away from here.
