Pros

- Nice co-workers who are very passionate about our company mission. - Can work remotely, hybrid, or onsite. - 401(k) with 4% matching. - Occasional Offsites - Flexible Time Off

Cons

No growth opportunities, management plays favorites, low pay, terrible health insurance, managers don't have any measurable goals, toxic environment and culture. No transparency from upper management and managers can't be trusted. Managers if feel threatened by you, will do everything they can to make you miserable or will try to find a way to fire you. They will overwork you by having you do multiple jobs not just what you are hired to do and micromanage you to death. As previous reviewers have stated, it is a circus. They promote a work/life balance but forget it, you will be working long hours and will find ways to not promote you or give you your bonus. If the budget is there, you will get a good review and bonus but if they don't have the budget you will get a bad review and cheated out of a bonus. There are also no measurable goals, so you will never know how you are doing until you get your review. We keep getting great people joining the company and they just disappear. We don't know if they quit or were let go. It never feels like upper management cares about employees nor trusts the people they hire but instead just takes over and steamrolls everyone.

Pros

Excellent work-life balance with flexibility to maintain a healthy personal and professional life. Competitive benefits and pay. Fully remote work provides convenience and eliminates commute. Upper management keeps employees informed about company updates and changes. Synapse values employee growth and frequently promotes from within.

Cons

None that I've experienced during my time with this company.

Pros

*What stands out most is the sense of purpose behind the work. It's easy to lose sight of the bigger picture in a lot of jobs, but here you can clearly connect what you're doing day-to-day to the impact it has on patients. *There's also real room to make a difference through continuous process improvement; if you see something that could work better, you're given the space to actually fix it rather than just flag it. *Many roles are remote too, so there's a good amount of flexibility in how and where you work.

Cons

The pace moves fast, and because the Synapse is growing, processes are often being built, and then rebuilt, as things evolve. It's not a bad thing, but if you don't handle change well or prefer a lot of established structure, this could be frustrating.
