Significant areas of improvement - Anonymous employee Synchrony Employee Review

Some of the disadvantages to working at Synchrony Financial would be pay related. It is not competitive and not designed for talent retention. It is a great entry level company for someone out of college or new to the workforce who wants gain experience for their resume. This is not a long term plan for someone to establish financial security.
