Pros
From the benefits package to the various opportunities to grow within the company synchrony really appreciates its employees - even the collections department. No company is perfect but Synchrony really is a great place to work. They don't mind promoting within - but you do have to work for it. Don't expect to be spoon fed - but if u want more the opportunities for advancement are there! I would suggest after your 6 months are over apply for the STEP program!
Cons
Compliance changes are not streamlined but there seems to be efforts to remedy that. Fitness area is pretty skimpy and needs more weight training equipment. Company needs more opportunities for departments to mingle - its a bit hard to appreciate the vastness of the business when u never have the opportunity to meet those in other departments. Collections can really burn you out - I would really suggest only using it as a door into the company. STEP program is the way to go.
