Pros
The job flow was great Great hiring class to work with Opportunity to move up and get a different experience The base and comp plan they had listed was good... until the contract ended
Cons
The contract was suddenly closed when we were given direction that everything was fine. Constant re-trainings by the contract company. Whenever they closed the contract they were shady about getting us our bonuses. They clearly made up the numbers they pulled to pay us a lower comp, would not share more detailed information about where they pulled those numbers, and were so off-base that there is no way they were even remotely accurate. I would hold your breathe whenever they say they will find you another role if your contract ends. Some recruiters are awesome here but others really could care less and don't respond at all or send you generic auto emails. You would think after busting your tail for them they would actually try to do right by you but they only care about quickly onboarding and staffing their open contracts regardless of skill level. All in all, I get that it was a contract and nothing is guaranteed. But there's doing business the right way and the wrong way. It really depends on what contract and manager you get here. If you're looking to jump into a different sector of pharma, the transition from inside to out, or making your first leap into pharma, it may be a good option. Just be sure to do your homework on the contract company to make sure their financials are good, if you get bad vibes from the manager no matter how good the offer is it's not worth it, and make sure the company has good reviews as well.
