Pros
Synopsys is the leader in EDA and has good technology. Some great people work there and people tend to stay.
Cons
High expectations with harsh punishment for failure mean few are willing to take risks or try new approaches. Much of the management are dinosaurs or are ex-engineers that are not suited to non-technical jobs. Arrogance is a systemic problem.
