Pros
Synopsys is undeniably a great performing company, as they are #1 in the EDA tools space. The technical talent they hire is top-notch and it is a very results focused company. CEO is a very motivational speaker and inspires hard work. Working at the MT. View location is probably the best bet to stay involved with numerous opportunities to advance career.
Cons
Certain business units are very unethical in the way they treat some of their people and like to assign blame from the bottom up. It nearly borders on criminal to say the least. Stay away from the VG BU!! IF offered a job working under the CAE directors in this BU, run the other way immediately. Synopsys should do a better job or reining in the way these people in this organization operate. For other BUs, everything my be just fine.
