I've been employed at SMH going on 9 years, which is nothing compared to the many employees that have been there 35+ years. The people that I work with are amazing. They have become family. It's a very family oriented company. As long as you come in and do your work to the best of your ability, like you should at any job you're employed to do, it's an amazing place to work.

Good culture, powerful parent company, feed you well many times per year, big on safety and 5s, company includes all employees in weekly meetings to discuss important facts and company trajectory, work load not unbearable, overtime can be a good thing

Insurance not great, sometimes overtime gets pretty steady without breaking for several months in a row & I might add that probably plays large part in reasoning for slow hourly raises but overall decent pay
