Pros
People are helpful and you can learn quickly, on projects that are amazing. People listen to you and give clear direction on where you need to go. You are basically architect of your own future. During the pandemic where every firm laid off people by truck loads, Syska didn't cut hours, benefits, and only laid off contract employees. Early on I panicked and got tempted to go to another competitor of Syska for few more dollars, despite my manager's advise on looking at security, and sure enough within 6 months my hours got cut to 28 hours working more than 40, and later I got laid off. I know all my old friends were working fulltime and didn't get laid off.
Cons
Sometimes working with other offices are hard. You have learn who to work with and who to talk and say your concerns. But if you do, they will listen.
