Pros

College tuition which paid for my Bachelors. Graduated debt free. 75% off cell service! Upbeat environment, many pay with bonus ability. If too 1% of the company, a free four day trip! Benefits such as vision, dental and medical at a low cost. 401K match. If working at a call center, many events, free food and opportunities to win free costly electronics. If call center, amenities such as gym, game room, etc.

Cons

Huge strain on mental health. Customer service isn’t what it used to be. The customer has become extremely demanding, no emotional control, and T-Mobile “punishes” the employee by changing bonus structures with huge impacts on customer service. I was consistently a top rep however, by the end of the day I was emotionally, physically and mentally drained. 40 hours feel like 60 hour work weeks. If unlucky, you’ll be stuck with a manager who micro manages or doesn’t know how to manage which impacts the team. The bonus structure is depend on your individual performance AND your teams. Managers work you to the core and highly based on politics not solely on skill. Although they try and promote a health culture, it’s very high school vibes. Rumors and gossip. Married couples cheating on their spouses with their colleagues and everyone knows it. It can be toxic if unlucky.

Pros

Wireless service discount Decent vision insurance Co-workers

Cons

Leadership Scheduling Work/life balance Stress Broken everything - half of the tools and resources don’t work No room to grow your career anymore unless you suck up. If you’re blunt and honest you’ll be an outcast - they’ve fostered an environment where they only want cheerleaders. Constantly changing goal posts Frequent restructuring
