Pros

Company was a better place to work pre-merger. Good place to start for people with no experience or no formal education. Stay 2 to 3 years max then move on.

Cons

Benefits are average and pay is subpar compared to industry standards. The CEO, Rich Hume, is aloof and condescending. He speaks in lofty platitudes along with the rest of the Executive Management team. Executive Management is highly reactive, not proactive. They equivocate on every topic to the point of being pathologically deceitful. The CCE, Jay Snyder, is an uncouth rustic individual that runs his division like a medieval fiefdom. He manages and controls everything including the smallest details that should be delegated to lower management. It’s very strange to see an intolerant individual like this in an organization that prides itself in diversity and inclusion. Also, top sales producers are negatively impacted by TD Synnex changing its sales commission structure making it more difficult for sales to meet goals. Eddie Franklin, COO, had nothing to say about this cut in pay! Less pay for employees and more profits for the Executive team, Board of Directors, and shareholders.

Pros

I have been with the TD SYNNEX for 14 of my 30+ year career. I love that my company cares not only about its own success, but also the success of its individual contributors, and the local community. The executive team we have in place now puts priority on family, ongoing education, promoting from within when possible. There is drive towards servant leadership within TD SYNNEX. I believe our executive team has embraced that our individual contributors are what makes a company successful. We receive periodic surveys where those individual contributors have a voice on a much larger stage, and this team reads those reviews, and they take action on them. We have had many great things happen recently as a result of those voices. Wellbeing committee challenging coworkers with healthy lifestyle changes. Coworker connections which celebrate our coworkers and their families' planning picnics, game days, and holiday celebrations. We also have our BRG's which celebrates our diverse organization.

Cons

TD SYNNEX invests a lot in their people on an ongoing basis so there is not a lot of turnover. For young associates that had dreams of quickly advancing up the corporate ladder, this might be discouraging but it speaks volumes about the company.

Pros

Decent people to work with.

Cons

Cutting pay, cutting US support, no one in leadership seems to know where up is and keeps making awful decisions but blames the employees who are working multiple people’s jobs to try and make numbers that they have no support for. Upper leadership got tired of complaints they made a team of associates answer the customers complaints so they can pretend that everything is fine. They have everyone so afraid to say anything for fear of losing their jobs in the current world of things.
