Pros

I learned a lot about myself and my skill set while working at TDS. I was able to use the job to build new skills and enhance some of my existing skills. Throughout my five years, I also identified my preferred working style and what type of role I like to work in.

Cons

TDS is constantly changing, and the phrase "we are flty8ing the plane while constructing it" is very common. Changes can be good or bad depending on the perception of the person experiencing the changes. I was never bored, and there was always new information to learn. Yet, often, we were trying to develop new processes and procedures with little framework existing. This can cause a lot of friction and chaos that makes work very stressful at times.

Pros

Competitive pay and an outstanding benefits package, including health insurance, a 401(k)-company match, tuition reimbursement, and generous paid holidays and sick leave.

Cons

Recent layoffs had a major impact on the Field Marketing department, leading to reduced resources and higher workloads.

Cons

- Starting pay may be a little low for some people - Miscommunications about what departments handle what issues - Call center with varying amounts of calls per day (not necessarily a con) - Metrics for calls may be stressful for some
