Pros
Good benefits, competitive with other companies in the area. Great Pay, but you have to know your worth or they will rob you. Flexible schedules, understanding co-workers and great products. TE has some of the best medical device solutions and patents - but will soon become a "has been" (if it already hasnt become one) because of middle, senior and executive management decisions
Cons
Yearly lay-offs and RIFs. Re-Orgs and lack of cohesive planning and strategy has left the Portland/Watsonville campus deteriorated. There are NPI and Operations projects struggling to get adequate engineering support while the middle management layer is very heavy. The "plans" are great - the reality is grim.
