      Pros

      I consider the position I held at TE Connectivity to be a stepping stone to future success at other companies. My time there provided me with the relevant experience needed to obtain a better position and pay with other businesses.

      Cons

      Constant threat of layoffs made for a very uncomfortable working environment. Within my three years at the company there were five layoffs at the facility in PA and two plant closures within the U.S. It was either feast or famine - they were either running on mandatory overtime or laying employees off. No middle ground.

      PTO, HR accessibility, work environment (indoors, climate control), clear chain of command,

      Cons

      local 'vibe' of racism, misogyny, homophobia was at odds with the progressive corporate policy, resulting in friction between 'good ol' boy' network and others. Long standing employees, those with over 5 years of experience, aren't recognized for their undocumented contributions.
