Pros
I’ve been an engineer at TE for 5+ years and have overall enjoyed the experience. The company is focused on innovation which is exciting and the culture is great with many opportunities to be engaged if desired. The company provides many benefits and programs/events to make employees feel valued. Overall, I take pride in working at TE and value my coworkers and the work I perform.
Cons
The automotive business is volatile and thus, downturns naturally bring cost cuts and possible workforce reductions. During those times, leadership seems to be short sighted and overreact when business will inevitably pick up. This can be frustrating but I believe is typical with most large companies.
