Pros
1) Great work life balance for motivated staffing professionals 2) Good for people who may have a base of clients coming in...instant access to corporate infrastructure and a team of people to help work your jobs. 3) Commission structure 4) Overall a good group of people to work with
Cons
1) It’s going to be slightly more ramp up if you don’t come in with clients of your own. 2) Everyone is remote and essentially an independent consultant, can lead to lack of accountability with some. 3) I’m amazed at Client Managers who’ve worked with clients for years where they’ve placed dozens of people, but still don’t know some basics about the client. Or who just don’t even try to qualify a job order. That would never have passed at my last firm. Again this isn't everyone...a part of the challenge is knowing who to work with and how to work with them. That being said, there's a good chance you’ll find people to work with who match your staffing style.
