Pros
The management were very nice people with great intentions. They tried to listen to you even though they don't understand digital themselves. We did several happy hours for new hires or birthdays. Getting out early before some holidays was always great too!
Cons
The work itself isn't terribly hard if you understand digital. However, our vendors that Tegna owns make the job impossible. I truly left because of their company, G/O Digital which is the fulfillment team. I've never worked with people so unwilling to change or budge for clients no matter how much they spend (even over $100k a month). The managers can't get things done because they have no authority. Not to mention you're added to these distribution lists that cause you receive at least 100+ emails per day. 60% of the job is managing your email, so I hope you love to email! They also expect you to still working when you take a sick day or if you're on vacation. Last thing, don't expect to get any training. You have to learn as you go.
