Pros
Corporate culture will change from station to station, so if you don't have a good experience in one place, it doesn't mean you'll have the same in another.
Cons
While there's an understanding that Broadcast Journalism is a failing institution, there's very little encouragement to change that status quo, despite numerous platitudes stating otherwise.
