      Pros

      Good people. Freedom to create compelling content. I was able to integrate with the local media professionals in the building to grow my network in San Diego.

      Cons

      I did not like the schedule and the host was demanding. It’s the type of job where you have to plan on integrating content creation into your daily life.

      Flexible work environment - hybrid

      Cons

      Heavy workload, way below market compensation for the amount of responsibility, very limited advancement opportunities & uneven workload distribution among teams. In my experience, leadership made repeated statements about promotion opportunities in career growth that ultimately did not materialize. I felt that expectations were set that weren’t followed through on, which made it incredibly difficult to trust leadership. Transparency and follow through on career development could be significantly improved.
