Pros

Great company to grow your career. If there are notnopprounities available where you see opportunities, they will make one. Excellent leadership. Everyone is very helpful and want you to be successful. Youthful culture. Highly professional environment in comparison to other staffing agencies since I have interviewed at others and/or I have friends that work at OT staffing agencies. Excellent training to establish a good foundation for sucess in your career. Great opportunity to make money. Gas, coffee, food (breakfast, lunch or dinner) alcohol, reimbursements as long as they are business related. Goal oriented.

Cons

The culture is a pro and con. When I did research for the company, the average age is 27 yrs old. Impressive for a billion dollar company right? But I realized the reason why it is such a young age is because they hire many people out of school since the attrition rate is nearly 40%. There is a lot of opportunity to make money but then again there are a lot of people that don’t make the money they refer to. Working in a people industry, you can do everything right and it won’t go the way you expected it to but that’s sales. They promote a work life balance but then again they only recognize the people who spend a lot of time and hours invested into the company. Core business hours are 8:00-5:30 but be prepared to work until 6,7, or even 8pm. The pay is good but it is debatable for the amount of effort and stress you deal with. They changed the pay structure so it is harder to achieve financial goals year after year consecutively. Everyone who is all into the company, TEKsystems refers it as “drinking the kool-aid” to where some people’s only lives revolve around TEK. They find people who are vulnerable in their interviews because ultimately they find the “sweet spot” that is a trigger point for you to drive you which can be good for some people and not for others.

Pros

Ample opportunity for growth and development, great team environment and very supportive. This company will give you the skills you need to go elsewhere if you decide to do so, I had a tremendous experience there.

Cons

You have to be extremely adaptable, which isn’t necessarily a con. But just something you need to understand.

Pros

Recruiters are friendly and engaged *at first

Cons

My experience with TEKsystems revealed major issues in how candidates are managed and communicated with. After completing all onboarding requirements and being told I was cleared for a role, I was even welcomed by the client as part of the team and informed that I would be starting soon. At that point, I reasonably expected a smooth transition into the position. Instead, communication from the recruiting team became inconsistent and, eventually, nonexistent. Several promised updates never arrived. I had to initiate contact repeatedly just to confirm basic information, and responses often came late, from different people, or with no context. At one point, I was told the team “wasn’t aware I was still available,” despite multiple documented interactions showing I had remained fully engaged and ready to begin. The most concerning part was being asked to re‑interview for a role I had already been cleared for — a clear sign that my status was not being tracked internally. Even after that second interview, I received no follow‑up from the recruiters who were supposed to be coordinating the process. I ultimately learned the client had moved forward with someone else, but only because I reached out directly. TEKsystems never communicated this themselves, nor did they provide any explanation for the breakdown in communication. TEKsystems works with reputable clients and offers solid opportunities, but candidates should be prepared to advocate for themselves constantly. In my experience, even being fully onboarded, welcomed by the client, and told I was part of the team did not guarantee proper follow‑through. Clear, consistent, and accountable communication is essential in staffing — and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
