Pros

You get paid on time. Getting placed somewhere if you're desperate for a job. You are in good hands if you are working with a good client and if you are part of a good project. But beware of the tenure, as you may get rolled-off within a year or if you are lucky enough you will continue further, if you are working on Enterprise level applications.

Cons

Fake Promises Galore: The account manager and director will promise long-term projects, internal projects, cross mapping to other client projects, yearly hikes, training programs, quarterly performance reviews and it goes on... Unprofessional & Rude Leadership: The account manager and director speak to employees like they're disposable assets. Their only concern is margin, not people. Expect pressure, arrogance, and complete disregard No Tech Understanding: Leadership has zero grasp of current technologies, project requirements, or market trends. The Accounts are led by Managers who can barely spell the stack they are working on. And the funniest part is that the team of "TPMs" who are in fact well qualified folks, but unfortunately put into the wrong job. No Salary Hikes, No Benefits: Don’t expect raises, benefits, or even basic HR support, low in-hand salary. You’re a billing unit. Not an IT Services Company: It’s just a staffing company pretending to be Services company. And not to be confused with TEKsystems Global Services, though it is merged with TEKsystems, but both have different business and you will not be getting mapped to any internal projects ever. No Transparency: You’ll find out about layoffs, or policy shifts after they’ve already happened. You're left in the dark about client feedback, role stability, or even contract terms. No Job Security: Once the client contract ends, you're on your own. No bench policy, no retention effort. Just a polite “we’ll get back to you” that never happens.

Pros

Ample opportunity for growth and development, great team environment and very supportive. This company will give you the skills you need to go elsewhere if you decide to do so, I had a tremendous experience there.

Cons

You have to be extremely adaptable, which isn’t necessarily a con. But just something you need to understand.

Pros

Recruiters are friendly and engaged *at first

Cons

My experience with TEKsystems revealed major issues in how candidates are managed and communicated with. After completing all onboarding requirements and being told I was cleared for a role, I was even welcomed by the client as part of the team and informed that I would be starting soon. At that point, I reasonably expected a smooth transition into the position. Instead, communication from the recruiting team became inconsistent and, eventually, nonexistent. Several promised updates never arrived. I had to initiate contact repeatedly just to confirm basic information, and responses often came late, from different people, or with no context. At one point, I was told the team “wasn’t aware I was still available,” despite multiple documented interactions showing I had remained fully engaged and ready to begin. The most concerning part was being asked to re‑interview for a role I had already been cleared for — a clear sign that my status was not being tracked internally. Even after that second interview, I received no follow‑up from the recruiters who were supposed to be coordinating the process. I ultimately learned the client had moved forward with someone else, but only because I reached out directly. TEKsystems never communicated this themselves, nor did they provide any explanation for the breakdown in communication. TEKsystems works with reputable clients and offers solid opportunities, but candidates should be prepared to advocate for themselves constantly. In my experience, even being fully onboarded, welcomed by the client, and told I was part of the team did not guarantee proper follow‑through. Clear, consistent, and accountable communication is essential in staffing — and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
