Pros
If I had to really think, I suppose a "pro" would be weekly pay.
Cons
- Benefits "effective 1st day of the month following your hire date" sounds great, but it's NOT. You have 2 options: High Deductible, VERY expensive insurance *or* bare bones minimum insurance that doesn't even cover x-rays. - Employees are not valued, and concerns are dismissed, because the "client" you're contract is with has ALL the power and ability to micro-manage and promote hostile work environment. - Attendance and Reliability is archaic. You get a "1/2 a point", or "a point" if you're even 1 minute late clocking back in from a meal break, or *** forbid it's the beginning of your shift. And forget about it if you need to run to the restroom for 90 seconds and you're not on a scheduled break or lunch. WHOA. - Legitimate documentation of being sick with positive Covid test. Don't care. Doctor's excuses are NOT accepted to avoid accumulating points, and then BAM - you're on a PIP, for 6 months! - Very stressful
