Pros
The work is fully remote. Inclusive environment.
Cons
-Low salary -Lack of Onboarding and Training: There is a strong expectation to be "plug and play" immediately. While training budgets are advertised during hiring, requests for professional development are consistently denied due to "limited budget." When mistakes happen due to this lack of training, accountability falls entirely on the individual rather than systemic support. -Management Style and Culture: The leadership within the Workday team—specifically at the director level—focuses heavily on pressure rather than support, treating team members as easily replaceable resources rather than valued employees. -Inexperienced Team Leads: The Business-As-Usual (BAU) and module-specific team leaders lack formal people management experience. They manage tasks rather than people, leading to a rigid, metrics-driven environment that lacks empathy. -Offboarding Workload: During my rendering (notice) period, management continued to pile on additional new projects rather than transitioning my existing workload, showing a lack of regard for employee well-being even during an exit
