Pros

Pay: TELUS evaluates all roles to compare the designated pay to other roles across the industry. Benefits: Benefits are adjustable and can be tailored to your needs. Remote work & office space: TELUS has been a primarily remote company since pre-pandemic, with bookable office space.

Cons

TELUS evaluates the market pay for your role under the guise of ensuring you are paid equitably, but will not actually update your salary to bring it in line with the evaluation, due to budget constraints. These evaluations are meaningless other than to outline you are not being paid fairly and there's nothing to be done about it. Watched multiple qualified coworkers attempt to advance their careers at TELUS with no results despite multiple years of interviewing for open internal roles. Promotions with increased responsibility are offered with zero pay increase and just the verbal promise of better pay later. TELUS' masquerades as a happy, giving company, but the unfortunate truth is that they do not respect employees, regardless of tenure or valuable contributions to the organization.

Pros

Direct supervisor and clinical team members were excellent!!! Very supportive.

Cons

Lots of restructuring and program changes happening within the EAP . Not a stable place to work at the moment. Low pay. Caseload expectations of 7 clients per day (3 intakes + 4 follow up appts) with 30 minutes for lunch and 30 minutes for admin.
