You must be at least 16 to work here, but you'll be treated like a 10 year old. - Cashier/Sales Associate TJ Maxx Employee Review

Pros

It's fun to see all of the new clothes and other items that come through the store, TJ Maxx really does sell some amazing things for such a good price, and being an employee gives you the first look and a discount.

Cons

Awful pay for the work. At busy times, you have 10 customers all over you while your manager is yelling at you. At slow times, you'll be bored to tears while having a manager bark at you to do something when there is actually nothing to do. There are so many minute details to learn and if you haven't memorized them by day 2 the more experienced workers will let you know what a failure you are. I've always loved shopping here so I thought working here would be fun, but I was very wrong so if you are thinking the same then please reconsider.
