Pros

It is a job providing minimum wage

Cons

No training, I was just thrown in, even though I told them I had no retail experience. No one told me how/when to get my paycheck, how/when to clock in on a daily basis. Most of what I learned was from co-workers. A record is kept of any mistakes, with no opportunity to research the mistake. I am required to sign off on a mistake that may be mine, or could have been made by someone else; no explanation is given. Also required to sign off on hours to get a paycheck, not given a copy of the backup. Required at hire to sign numerous documents and not given a copy. Management requires Associated to "smile", but never seem to smile themselves. Questions are not answered when asked - referred to someone else. I do not know if I was hired seasonally or not. Management is always too busy to answer questions. I do not know what the chain of command is. Who do I report to? If I ask a question I am told to ask someone else. I do not know what the career opportunities are; some of the management have no retail experience. What other skills do they have that I don't?
