Pros

-It's a well known company -From a corporate standpoint, they are doing very well -Less snooty customers -Casual dress -Get to be around clothes that you might want to buy later

Cons

There's not much saving grace to my experience here. The worst part by far is the management who is extremely grumpy and at times negative. In fact, it seemed like they were acting very friendly and then the act was up.They constantly watch their employees as if they are stealing. The break room is dismal and refrigerated like you wouldn't believe. There is no mention for for a job well done so you mine as well do as you please. The pay is minimum wage and they schedule on a rotating shift. NO ONE liked their job. The discount is 10% and some times it goes up to 20%.

Pros

-flexible and accomodating hours - good partime job for college student - very neutral experience, but the fact that it wasn't terrible makes it a pro -10% employee discount

Cons

-lower pay than other retail places ($12 when I was there) - general cons that just come with retail (rude customers, boring tasks, etc.) - store is constantly being rearranged, and is also disorganized on purpose so customers have to search through/look at more things to find what they are looking for -CONSTANTLY having to push the TJ Maxx credit card and having managers literally walk by to make sure you are - can't wear t-shirts or any graphic tees including ones in the store (which always bothered me because if they can sell it I should be able to wear it)
