Pros

You get to work from the comfort and privacy of your own home, and there's a great flexibility of hours, as long as you work 40 hours per week, they can be any hours!

Cons

Lack of connection to coworkers in the outside world. When there are computer/IT problems, you have to just wait it out until they fix it on their end.

Thank you for your feedback! TMF Health Quality Institute is proud of its commitment to flexible scheduling options for exempt employees. Although employees are required to work during our core operating hours (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CST), the remainder of their eighty hours for the pay period can sometimes be subject to workload, forthcoming deadlines, and project needs. We are proud of our commitment to creating a healthy work/life balance for our employees and their families. In the last few years, managers and directors have brainstormed ways to involve telecommuting employees in on-site events, and a few of them have been implemented. Employees are encouraged to attend all employee luncheons for updates on operations, summer events, and company holiday parties. TMF Health Quality Institute is aware that when technology issues arise, it can be detrimental to the productivity of its remote employees. Our hope is that with the addition of recent IT employees and key IT management positions, these technological complications will be resolved.

Pros

No pros keep looking elsewhere

Cons

This is the worse job I’ve ever accepted in my entire life. They MICRO MANAGE!! And you can BARELY meet production because there is little to no work. They fire people monthly under the guise of “poor performance” to avoid paying unemployment and the supervisors are very clicky and passive aggressive in communication. You are harassed outside of work hours via your personal cellphone and they watch your start times and end times like a hawk even though the job is “salaried”. The pay is VERY POOR and the expectation is for you to work beyond 40 hours with no incentive. So not worth the headache, please RUN don’t walk!
