Pros

In my experience, TMF hires based primarily on the canidate's fit with company culture. I had little experience in the health quality world, but was give an opportunity, which has morphed into to best job of my adult life. TMF operates o "big kids rules", that is, there is alot of flexibility for remote employees, where you design your own workflow, which is allowable as long as the work gets done on time and with good outcomes. It's not for everyone, to be sure, but there are alot worse things in life than being paid to be creative. The pay is less than in the clinical realm, but the benefits and flexibility more than compensate. Plus, the company places a premium on work-life balance, which was new to me after many years in clinical practice. 60% percent of our company works remotely, so you have to be naturally organized to be effective and successful.

Cons

I haven't found any deal breakers to date. There are minor process issues that arise, but none that have ever interfered with receipt of pay or benefits. The organizational structure is horizontal, so if you are looking to "climb the corporate ladder", you will not find that at TMF. Achievement is rewarded, but in different ways, such as education benefits, generous bonuses and profit sharing, and non-financial means, such as the ability to help make the world a better place on a large scale, and spend time enjoying life.

Pros

Cons

This is the worse job I’ve ever accepted in my entire life. They MICRO MANAGE!! And you can BARELY meet production because there is little to no work. They fire people monthly under the guise of “poor performance” to avoid paying unemployment and the supervisors are very clicky and passive aggressive in communication. You are harassed outside of work hours via your personal cellphone and they watch your start times and end times like a hawk even though the job is “salaried”. The pay is VERY POOR and the expectation is for you to work beyond 40 hours with no incentive. So not worth the headache, please RUN don’t walk!
